What you study?

Master of Arts in English explores wide spectrum of English Literature and versatile cultures. The programme widens students’ creative, critical and analytical skills and also enriches good communication and lucid writing skills. It offers comprehensive understanding of canon of English Literary domain to facilitate progressive career opportunities in translations, publishing, teaching, research, media and pursuit of higher studies.

Length: 2 years full-time with 4 semesters. The maximum duration to complete the course shall be 4 years from the date of commencement of the course.

Eligibility: Candidates who have secured 50 % of marks and above are eligible and 45% for SC/ ST candidates.

Fees: Rs. 16,000/- per semester + one-time payment of Rs. 2,500/- will be collected.
